FAQ
Questions worth asking before you spend a month building.
Straight answers, including the ones that are not flattering. Where a fact belongs to a business decision rather than the software, the answer says so instead of making up a number.
What the product does
What does Nexify actually do?
It does two things. First, it searches Reddit for existing conversations about the problem behind your idea and stores what it finds with a link back to each thread. Second, it gives you a public validation page with concrete price options, and reports which source each response came from.
Does Nexify post to Reddit for me?
No. There is no automated posting, commenting, or messaging anywhere in the product. Nexify tells you which communities and threads are worth approaching and warns you about their rules; you do the sharing yourself.
Where does the research data come from?
Reddit only. Each stored item keeps the subreddit, post ID, original URL, upvote and comment counts, and the keyword that surfaced it, so you can open the thread and check it.
How long does a research run take?
A run is four discrete steps rather than one long request: build the hypothesis, search Reddit, store the evidence, generate recommendations. Each step is committed before the next begins, so the total time depends on how many queries are run and how the provider responds. If a step is interrupted, the run resumes from that same step instead of starting over.
Does Nexify use AI? Where?
Yes, in three narrow places: turning your raw idea into a search hypothesis, summarising and grouping the evidence it collected, and drafting the validation page copy. Recommendations must cite evidence IDs that exist in your project, so they cannot invent sources. The underlying Reddit data is always stored alongside whatever the model wrote.
Validation and responses
What is the difference between a response and a verified response?
A response is a submitted form: a price choice plus an email address. A verified response is one where the person clicked the confirmation link that was emailed to them, which proves the address is real and reachable. Both numbers are shown separately, and only the second one tells you that you could actually contact that person.
What does a validation page collect from visitors?
The price option they chose, whether that means they would pay, their email address, and an optional reason. Alongside it, the page records attribution (tracking code, ref, UTM parameters), a salted hash of the visitor, the referrer and the user agent. The raw IP address is not stored.
Can I edit the generated validation page?
Not after the fact. Every field can be overridden at the moment the page is generated, so you can supply your own title, copy and price options instead of the AI draft. Once the page exists there is no edit screen — changing it means generating a new one.
How do I get people to the page?
Manually. Nexify creates a unique tracking link for each source you plan to approach, and you post or message people yourself. That is the part of the process no tool can honestly do for you, and it is also why the attribution numbers mean something.
Will Nexify tell me if my idea is validated?
No. There is no “validated” stamp, no score and no verdict. You get the threads, the responses, the verified responses and the sources they came from. The conclusion is yours to draw, and it should be based on what you read.
Accounts, data and running it
Is my idea kept private?
Your projects, evidence and validation pages are owned by your account and are only reachable by you. Public validation pages are the exception, by design: they live at their own URL and are intended to be shared. Nothing from your research is published anywhere.
What happens if I delete a project?
Deleting a project removes everything attached to it: research runs, stored evidence, recommendations, validation pages, tracking sources, responses, verification records and page views. The cascade is deliberate so no orphaned visitor data is left behind. Note that deletion is currently an API operation — there is no delete button in the dashboard yet.
What cookies does the site set?
Three, all first-party. An authentication cookie for the dashboard, a CSRF cookie tied to your session, and an attribution cookie per validation page so a visitor who returns without the tracking parameter is still credited to the right source. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Does it run on shared hosting?
That was the design constraint. It is a PHP application with no build step, no queue worker and no long-running process. Research runs are split into short resumable steps precisely because shared hosts kill long requests, and a cron script is provided to advance runs in the background.
What does Nexify cost?
Nothing, right now. There is no billing in the product: no plans, no card form and no charge, and no payment data is processed or stored. If that changes, this answer and the billing section of the terms will be updated before the first charge is taken.
How do I contact you?
Use the contact page, or write to hello@thenexify.app directly. The form routes by topic — general questions, security problems, privacy and data requests, and abuse of a validation page. Be aware there is no support team, no ticket system and no published response time: a reply is not guaranteed, so treat anything you cannot resolve in the dashboard as an open question rather than a settled answer.
Still unsure?
Read how it works end to end, or check what Nexify deliberately does not do. Both are shorter than a sales call and neither will try to close you. If a question is still open, send it over.
